Class Description:
Looking for a perfect gift album for a new bride? How about an album to celebrate a special occasion like prom, homecoming or date night? If so, look no further than Heart to Heart, a class that is elegantly delightful! We'll start with Rusty Pickle "Big Fat Heart" chipboard pieces and fold, cut and alter our way into an interactive pop-up mini-album. The paper and tag collection is called Princess Bride (which is my favorite movie, by the way) and by the time we mix in some coordinating Creative Imaginations Narratives cardstock stickers, some sheer fabric, Bazzill Bling cardstock, silk flowers and brads, we'll have created an album sure to delight the recipient (which might be YOU!). The hearts seem to pop-up out of nowhere and with the added interactive elements of a file folder and pull-out tag, this is one coffee table album that won't remain on the coffee table for long!
Your kit includes detailed instructions, a color copy of Karen's original, and all templates required to create the interactive elements. Your next Heart-to-Heart album may be in bright kid colors or pink and red for Valentines Day - you'll have everything you need to make this album again. It will break your heart if you miss this class!
Supplies you should bring to class are as follows:
Adhesive - you'll need a dry adhesive, like at tape runner or tabs
Fine line glue pen - this is helpful for the tips of the hearts
Glue Dots or Tacky Tape - something strong!
Trimmer
Scissors
Paper piercer (or push pin)
Scoring tool and ruler
Crop-a-Dile (if you have one)
All photos can be added later, but here are the sizes on Karen's project:
