Class Description:
I can see clearly now . . . literally! The pages of this unique mini-album are made from clear acrylic and you can see right through it. The layers overlap in fun and interesting ways that change every time you turn a page. Karen will share all her tips for working with this trendy new medium. Plus she'll teach you an interactive element - a wrap-around picture chain with space for 40 more photos! You have to see it to believe it! But first you have to make it to see it! This is clearly a class you don't want to miss.
Your kit is stuffed full with a six page 6x7 acrylic mini-album, Making Memories papers, stickers, letters, ribbon and embellishments, Basic Grey rub-ons, Bazzill cardstock, brads, rubber bands, templates, a color copy of Karen's original and detailed instructions. All obstacles are out of your way and the rain is gone - can you see clearly now why you need to take Clearly Now?!
Supplies you should bring to class are as follows:
Adhesive - you'll need a dry adhesive, like at tape runner or tabs
Tacky Tape - to make the picture chain you'll need a roll of super strong tacky tape - 1/2" width (1.25cm) is perfect, but any size will do. Alternatively, you can bring glue dots.
Scissors
Craft knife and cutting mat
Paper piercer (or push pin)
Scoring tool and ruler
Rubbing tool - optional. The rub-ons come with a popsicle stick, but a smaller tool, like a stylus, is better
Tweezers - optional, but helpful for placing stickers
Needle-nosed pliers - optional, but helpful for working with the brads/bands
